Troop 149 invites you to spend the day at the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) earning two merit badges on April 26 Scout Merit Badge Jamboree at https://usnajamboree.cheddarup.com.
- Pick your top five merit badge requests, but no more than two of those badges can be Eagle Required; additionally, Emergency Preparedness and Small Boat Sailing will be all day badges (if selected, you will only earn one badge). Badges are: Citizenship in the Nation, Emergency Preparedness, Citizenship in the World, Space Exploration, Robotics, Weather, Oceanography, Chemistry, Electronics, Radio, Nuclear Science, Small Boat Sailing, American Heritage, Digital Technology, Composite Materials, Engineering, Electricity, Aviation, Programming.
- Scouts also have the option to participate in the following non-merit badge activities:
- Navy Damage Control training aboard a US Navy Yard Patrol (YP) craft. This will consist of an orientation to the YP, instruction in fire hose operation and flooding controlUSNA Tour and Admissions Session receiving a brief from a USNA admissions officer and a Midshipman-led tour of USNA

The schedule will look something like this (details to follow):
- 0630 - Depart Cherrydale United Methodist Church
- 0715 - Arrive at Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (NMCMS) and board shuttle to USNA
- 0800 - Observe colors in Tamanend Court (T-Court)
- 0805 - Meet Morning Merit Badge Councilors in T-Court
- 0815-1200 - Morning Merit Badge Session
- 1200-1245 - Lunch in King Hall
- 1250- Meet Afternoon Merit Badge Councilors in T-Court
- 1300-1630 - Afternoon Merit Badge Session
- 1645-1730 - Complete Jamboree and Depart USNA to NMCMS via shuttle
- 1830 - Arrive Cherrydale United Methodist Church
