Troop 149 invites you to learn how to SURVIVE IN THE WILD with your friends and earn a merit badge for it!
SIGN UP REQUIRED by Friday, Nov 1 & Waiver for survival due by Tuesday, Nov 5 (don't forget to vote).
We will meet at Cherrydale Methodist Church in Class A uniform on Saturday, Nov 9 at 1:00 pm to load up the trailor and depart promptly by 1:30 pm. The drive to Butler Montessori takes about an hour.
Parent drivers are invited to camp because we require 2 more adults beyond our ASMs for scout safety - participation in skill training will be great fun, too!
We will return to the Lorcom-side of CUMC around 9:30 pm on Monday, November 11. Scouts will unpack the trailor together before they go home.
It will be chilly, so winter jackets are required, and long johns and gloves recommended.
Grubmasters should plan for snacks, warm food and beverages, campfire desserts and more than food (think: foil, zip lock, paper towels, powdered bleach for kitchen patrol, aka KP)
