IMPORTANT NOTE: All people (adults and Scouts) who want to raft MUST pass the BSA Swim Test, which will be offered at some point in the next few weeks.
When: June 2–June 4, 2023
Where: Lower Yough River in Ohiopyle PA. Scouts will camp at Benner's Meadow Run Campground, Farmington PA.
Organizer and Contact Info: Cliff Stevens: cliffstevens@mac.com
Cost / Payment: $161.70 per person. The cost increased this year due to a higher charge by the rafting company, including a pizza lunch after rafting, and a cheaper group site was not available at Benner’s campground (instead we will be in our own loop of individual sites closer to the store, game room, and pool).
Travel Details: Meet at the church on Friday at 4:45. Will return on Sunday around 12 or 1pm.
Meal Info:
Friday: Bag dinner in the car while traveling
Saturday: All meals will be provided (breakfast and dinner by the rafting company and lunch from a local pizza shop).
Sunday: Donut breakfast provided by the adults.
