We will run an orienteering course on Sunday, May 21, after people return from the backpacking campout. 3PM, Dorothy Hamm Middle School. Let's start at the gazebo.This will be rain or shine, unless we're talking thunderstorms.
This is a requirement for First Class rank, and is HIGHLY recommended to do for any Scout who is not yet First Class. Remember, even if you are only Scout rank, you can work on and get signed off for any Tenderfoot, Second, or First Class rank requirements.
We will need a few older Scouts to help with administering the course.
Also, if this is the only requirement you need to complete your First Class rank, you are permitted to go ahead and arrange for a First Class practical prior to finishing this requirement.
