Dear Scouts and Families,
Troop 149 leaf raking is back this fall. This is a long-time tradition with the troop and a fun way to be active in the fresh air.
We'll need all Scouts to help us rake yards the weekends of November 12 and 13, and again on December 10 and 11. We'll be raking from 10 am to 3 pm both days, both weekends.
We need each Scout to help out for TWO hours, either one each day or a two-hour shift on one of the days. We also need the help of our adults.
As always, we'll be earning money to help feed hungry families.
Sign-up today using the link below. In the comments, note if you have any special equipment you can bring, such as a leaf blower. Also bring rakes, tarps, and other equipment for getting leaves off the grass and out to the curb.
Also, if you or someone you know would like the Scouts to rake a yard, write to Heather Buck buckheather@gmail.com to schedule. Suggested donation is $100 per hour/yard.
