Hello everybody,

This is John Matuszewski and I've been a member of Pack and Troop 149 since 1st grade. My Eagle Scout project is to rebuild a practice pitching mound and home plate for the Washington-Liberty Baseball Field. My project is on June 27th from 11am–3pm at the baseball field to the left of Central Library.

I would really appreciate if any Scouts, parents, or others would volunteer to help me with my Eagle project. You can volunteer for as long or as short as you would like. Volunteering counts as service hours and it is a custom to help with older Scouts' Eagle projects because when it comes time to do your project, you can expect the same thing from the other Scouts. There will be complementary pizza and snacks between shifts. Please bring work tools such as shovels, rakes, pickaxes, and hoes if you have them. We will provide some but it's preferred you bring your own (this minimizes the need to clean more tools).

AS FOR COVID-19:

Please bring your own masks and gloves, but we will have extras available if anyone forgets. We will provide disinfectants to use as needed. The project has multiple individual elements that can be completed by a small number of people to permit us to follow social distancing guidelines. Bringing your own tools can help people minimize the number of surfaces they need to touch. We will be doing all we can to limit the spread of COVID-19. We're limiting signups to ten people per shift to reduce numbers, so if there's a particular time slot you want please sign up early.
