This e-mail is NOT about a cancellation, but instead about a NEW OPPORTUNITY.
Since Camp Sinoquipe made the difficult decision to cancel resident Boy Scout camp, they have decided to offer a virtual camp—Camp Cyberquipe. This is a great opportunity for those of you who couldn't attend Sinoquipe (as well as those who were planning to attend) to make progress on rank advancement and merit badges.
Troop 149 had been scheduled to attend Sinoquipe the week of July 12–17 and we will plan to join Camp Cyberquipe that same week. Please let me (sonja.rodman@gmail.com) know by Monday, June 1 if you would like to join Camp Cyberquipe for the week of July 12–17.

- You do NOT have to have signed up for Camp Sinoquipe to join Camp Cyberquipe.
- It is significantly less expensive ($135) and provides a great opportunity to earn rank advancement and merit badges.

Our troop plans to participate during the week we had scheduled to attend Camp Sinoquipe (July 12–17). However, it is also possible to attend multiple weeks. If you are interested in multiple weeks or a week other than July 12–17, please reach out to me separately and I'll explore options. Once I know who wants to join, I will work on payment, merit badges etc.
The merit badge offerings are similar but not identical to those available for Camp Sinoquipe (a tentative list is in the linked leader guide.)
